여기에서 Score가 언어라면, 즉 랑그(Langue)라면, No Score는 언어화할 수 없는 것, 언어화하지 않는 것, 언어가 아닌 것, 언어에서 멀어진 것, 랑그의 바깥, 그것을 떼어낸 나머지, 비밀인 것, 말로 표현할 수 없는 것이다. 다시 말하면 음악 그 자체이다. 역사 전의 음악이다. 연주가 곧 작곡이자 음악의 시작이자 끝이다. 어쩌면 그 음악의 태동의 때의 전통이다.

악보는 인간의 기억을 대신하는 기록이지만, 그 기록의 부재로 인해 인간성이 더 강조되는 아이러니 속에서 그러한 역사적인 악보의 기능을 거부하며, 더 인간적인 음악을 탐구한다. 이는 인간성의 수많은 면면을 테크놀로지가 대리하는 시대에, 인간의 본래적 창조성을 복원하려는 시도이자, 이러한 시대의 또 다른 빈 곳을 항해하는 너무나 인간적인 욕망이다.
